Customer satisfaction is most important goal, and we are unequaled when it comes to this benchmark. Statistically, Ionicsalts.com boasts an overall satisfaction rate of over 99% since 2004. Returns are very rare, due in part because we pack our shipments extrememly; as well as hand-picking each and every salt lamp and product ordered. Please find below a detailed explanation of our product warranties, guarantees, and product return information.

Product Warranty Information

Salt Lamps

All Himalayan and Persian salt lamps and salt lamp baskets (except LTP lamps) include a 90 Day Unconditional Satisfaction Guarantee from date of delivery. For full refund of purchase price, exchange, or store credit (via voucher), salt lamps must be returned with cord and bulb, and in like new, undamaged condition at customer's expense. Bath Salt Products, Salt Candleholders

All bath salts, salt body bars, salt candleholders, and our peloid mud mask come with a 90 Day Unconditional Satisfaction Guarantee from the date of delivery. Full refunds are only available for unused/unopened items, otherwise a prorated refund will be issued based on weight, condition, and/or size at our discretion (we're quite reasonable, no worries). Return shipping is customer's responsibility. We do not re-sell used bath and body products. Further return details below.

Kitchen Salt Products

All natural Himalayan food and cooking salts are guaranteed unconditionally for 90 days, from date of delivery. If you wish to return the product, refunds are based on the weight of returned quantity, and prorated accordingly. We cannot and do not re-sell used Himalayan salt. Return details are below.

Salt Cooking Tiles, Himalayan Salt Tableware

Salt cooking tiles and tableware are the one product that wears down with use over time. We cannot offer our standard guarantees for these products. Returns of these items can only be accepted if the product is unused and undamaged. Damaged shipments require a claim to be filed with and approved by UPS before replacement can be made; this process can take several days. More info on damage claims and returns below.

Less-Than-Perfect (LTP) Salt Lamps

LTP salt lamps sold on this page are sold "as is". No warranties or guarantees apply to these lamps.

Salt Lamp Bulbs and Cords

We guarantee all the bulbs and cords for salt lamps which we sell are new and unused (we will test each salt lamp during packaging, however). We do not offer any warranty or accept returns for burned or otherwise used bulbs. We will guarantee the salt lamp will work when it arrives, if it does not please let us know as soon as possible. We package our bulbs over the top in terms of care, but if our light bulbs are not working please let us know as well.

Our salt lamp cords (standard and dimmer switches, socket, and plug) are UL®-listed and very high-quality. Each is tested prior to shipment. If you have an issue with our cords within one year of purchase, please contact us.

Product Return Information

Damaged Orders

If you receive your order and believe it has been damaged during shipment, please let us know as soon as possible. A damage claim must be filed with the shipper, who in turn may or may not wish to see the damaged shipment to verify responsibility. Once the claim is approved, we can then provide a replacement. Damaged shipments are virtually non-existent with our company because of high packagin standards, but they can happen.

If you wish to return a product for refund, exchange, or credit, you may contact us via email or phone with your request. Please include or have your order number. When shipping back to us, please package the item(s) well to prevent damage and delay resolution. All returns are the customer's responsibility and expense. Include a copy of your invoice or a note with at least your name, email address, reason for return, and order number.
